The Holy Quran 23:68 — Surah Al-Mu'minun

Arabic text

أَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا۟ ٱلْقَوْلَ أَمْ جَآءَهُم مَّا لَمْ يَأْتِ ءَابَآءَهُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Translation

Have they not pondered over this speech (the Qur'aan because of which they do not want to accept it), or is it that (they refuse to accept it because they say that) such a thing has come to them that never came to their forefathers?

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أفلم يتفكروا في القرآن فيعرفوا صدقه، أم منعهم من الإيمان أنه جاءهم رسول وكتاب لم يأت أباءهم الأولين مثله، فأنكروه وأعرضوا عنه؟
