The Holy Quran 22:53 — Surah Al-Hajj
Translation
(These doubts that are cast into peoples' hearts have different effects on different people. Allaah says that Shaytaan casts these doubts) So that Allaah makes the doubts cast by Shaytaan a test (to see whether they accept or reject) for those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy or doubtfulness) and for those whose hearts are hard (the Kuffaar). Indeed, the oppressors (those who succumb to these doubts) are in a far removed disagreement (they will argue at all costs. In this regard, Allaah says in verse 121 of Surah 6, "The Shayaateen will surely whisper evil (doubts) into the hearts of their friends so (sinners who are astray) that they dispute with you".)
Tafsir (excerpt) —
