The Holy Quran 22:15 — Surah Al-Hajj

Arabic text

مَن كَانَ يَظُنُّ أَن لَّن يَنصُرَهُ ٱللَّهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ بِسَبَبٍ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ ثُمَّ لْيَقْطَعْ فَلْيَنظُرْ هَلْ يُذْهِبَنَّ كَيْدُهُۥ مَا يَغِيظُ

Translation

He who thinks that Allaah will never (ever) assist his Rasool ﷺ in this world and in the Aakhirah, should extend a rope to the skies and then (try to) cut (the process of revelation) to see (utterly) whether his scheme will remove the cause of his anger (whether this will cause any hindrance to the progress of Deen).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

من كان يعتقد أن الله تعالى لن يؤيد رسوله محمدًا بالنصر في الدنيا بإظهار دينه، وفي الآخرة بإعلاء درجته، وعذابِ مَن كذَّبه، فلْيَمدُدْ حبلا إلى سقف بيته وليخنق به نفسه، ثم ليقطع ذلك الحبل، ثم لينظر: هل يُذْهِبنَّ ذلك ما يجد في نفسه من الغيظ؟ فإن الله تعالى ناصرٌ نبيه محمدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم لا محالة.
