The Holy Quran 21:4 — Surah Al-Anbya

Arabic text

قَالَ رَبِّى يَعْلَمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

Translation

He (Rasulullaah ﷺ) said (to the Mushrikeen), "My Rabb knows the speech in the heavens and the earth, and He is All Hearing, All Knowing". (He therefore knows what you discuss in secret and will punish you for it.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

رد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الأمرَ إلى ربه سبحانه وتعالى فقال: ربي يعلم القول في السماء والأرض، ويعلم ما أسررتموه من حديثكم، وهو السميع لأقوالكم، العليم بأحوالكم. وفي هذا تهديد لهم ووعيد.
