The Holy Quran 19:55 — Surah Maryam

Arabic text

وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرْضِيًّا

Translation

(Besides being steadfast with salaah and Zakaah,) He (also) used to instruct his family to perform salaah and to pay zakaah and he was beloved to his Rabb.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وكان يأمر أهله بإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة، وكان عند ربه عز وجل مرضيًا عنه.
