The Holy Quran 19:14 — Surah Maryam

Arabic text

وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّا

He was kind to his parents and was neither rebellious (not arrogant towards his parents) nor disobedient (towards Allaah).

وكان بارًّا بوالديه مطيعًا لهما، ولم يكن متكبرًا عن طاعة ربه، ولا عن طاعة والديه، ولا عاصيًا لربه، ولا لوالديه.
