The Holy Quran 18:73 — Surah Al-Kahf

Arabic text

قَالَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِى بِمَا نَسِيتُ وَلَا تُرْهِقْنِى مِنْ أَمْرِى عُسْرًا

Translation

(Realising that he was not supposed to question Khidr Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام said, "Do not take me to task for what I have forgotten and do not be harsh with me in (such) matters."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قال موسى معتذرًا: لا تؤاخذني بنسياني شرطك عليَّ، ولا تكلفني مشقةً في تعلُّمي منك، وعاملني بيسر ورفق.
