The Holy Quran 17:86 — Surah Al-Isra

Arabic text

وَلَئِن شِئْنَا لَنَذْهَبَنَّ بِٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ بِهِۦ عَلَيْنَا وَكِيلًا

Translation

(Making it clear that everything, even divine revelation is a bounty from Allaah which only He can preserve, Allaah says,) If We wish, We could certainly snatch away whatever We have revealed to you (O Rasulullaah ﷺ), after which you will not find a helper against Us (to retrieve it)...

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولئن شئنا مَحْوَ القرآن من قلبك لَقدَرْنا على ذلك، ثم لا تجد لنفسك ناصرًا يمنعنا من فعل ذلك، أو يرد عليك القرآن.
