The Holy Quran 16:65 — Surah An-Nahl

Arabic text

وَٱللَّهُ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَآ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ

Translation

Allaah sends rain from the sky, by which He revives the earth after its death (after it has become dry and empty). There is certainly an Aayah in this (which proves the reality of resurrection) for those who listen (with the intention of accepting).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

والله أنزل من السحاب مطرًا، فأخرج به النبات من الأرض بعد أن كانت قاحلة يابسة، إن في إنزال المطر وإنبات النبات لَدليلا على قدرة الله على البعث وعلى الوحدانية، لقوم يسمعون، ويتدبرون، ويطيعون الله، ويتقونه.
