The Holy Quran 13:39 — Surah Ar-Ra'd

Arabic text

يَمْحُوا۟ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَيُثْبِتُ ۖ وَعِندَهُۥٓ أُمُّ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

Translation

Allaah erases (from a Shari'ah) whatever (laws of a previous Shari'ah) He wills and keeps in place (whatever laws He wills, so that it may apply to them as well). With Him is the Mother (Original) of Books (the Lowhul Mahfoodh, in which nothing is ever changed).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

يمحو الله ما يشاء من الأحكام وغيرها، ويُبْقي ما يشاء منها لحكمة يعلمها، وعنده أمُّ الكتاب، وهو اللوح المحفوظ.
