The Holy Quran 12:16 — Surah Yusuf

Arabic text

وَجَآءُوٓ أَبَاهُمْ عِشَآءً يَبْكُونَ

Translation

(Leaving Yusuf عليه الصلاة والسلام in the well) They (the brothers) came weeping (pretending to weep) to their father that night.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وجاء إخوة يوسف إلى أبيهم في وقت العِشاء من أول الليل، يبكون ويظهرون الأسف والجزع.
