The Holy Quran 11:75 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

إِنَّ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ لَحَلِيمٌ أَوَّٰهٌ مُّنِيبٌ

Translation

Surely Ibraheem عليه الصلاة والسلام was forbearing (tolerant), compassionate (soft-hearted) and repentant (to Allaah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إن إبراهيم كثير الحلم لا يحب المعاجلة بالعقاب، كثير التضرع إلى الله والدعاء له، تائب يرجع إلى الله في أموره كلها.
