The Holy Quran 11:64 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

وَيَـٰقَوْمِ هَـٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمْ ءَايَةً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِىٓ أَرْضِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ قَرِيبٌ

Translation

"O my people! This (camel which emerged from the mountain) is Allaah's camel (which He has sent) as an Aayah (miracle) for you (to prove to you that I am Allaah's Nabi). So leave it to graze in Allaah's land and do not touch it with evil intent, for then a near (swift) punishment shall afflict you."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ويا قوم هذه ناقة الله جعلها لكم حجة وعلامة تدلُّ على صدقي فيما أدعوكم إليه، فاتركوها تأكل في أرض الله فليس عليكم رزقها، ولا تمسُّوها بعَقْر، فإنكم إن فعلتم ذلك يأخذكم من الله عذاب قريب من عَقْرها.
