The Holy Quran 11:33 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَأْتِيكُم بِهِ ٱللَّهُ إِن شَآءَ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ

Translation

He said, "Only Allaah will bring it (the punishment) if He wills, and (when it comes) you will be unable to escape."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قال نوح لقومه: إن الله وحده هو الذي يأتيكم بالعذاب إذا شاء، ولستم بفائتيه إذا أراد أن يعذبكم; لأنه سبحانه لا يعجزه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء.
