The Holy Quran 11:100 — Surah Hud

Arabic text

ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلْقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّهُۥ عَلَيْكَ ۖ مِنْهَا قَآئِمٌ وَحَصِيدٌ

Translation

This (incident of Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام and Fir'oun) is from the narratives of the cities that We relate to you (O Muhammad ﷺ). Some of them are still standing, while others have been harvested (have been destroyed).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ذلك الذي ذكرناه لك -أيها الرسول- من أخبار القرى التي أهلكنا أهلها نخبرك به، ومن تلك القرى ما له آثار باقية، ومنها ما قد مُحِيَتْ آثاره، فلم يَبْق منه شيء.
