The Holy Quran 10:84 — Surah Yunus

Arabic text

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ يَـٰقَوْمِ إِن كُنتُمْ ءَامَنتُم بِٱللَّهِ فَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلُوٓا۟ إِن كُنتُم مُّسْلِمِينَ

Translation

(Encouraging his people to be strong against Fir'oun's tyranny) Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام said, "O my people! If you believe in Allaah, then rely on Him only (for He will assist you against your enemies), if you are (really people who are) subservient (to Him)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وقال موسى: يا قومي إن صدقتم بالله -جلَّ وعلا- وامتثلتم شرعه فثقوا به، وسلِّموا لأمره، وعلى الله توكلوا إن كنتم مذعنين له بالطاعة.
