The Holy Quran 10:30 — Surah Yunus

Arabic text

هُنَالِكَ تَبْلُوا۟ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّآ أَسْلَفَتْ ۚ وَرُدُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَوْلَىٰهُمُ ٱلْحَقِّ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ

Translation

At that instance every soul will (carefully) analyse what it had done before (in this world). They (all of creation) will be returned to Allaah their True Master and whatever (partners to Allaah) they invented will be lost to them (unable to assist them at all).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

في ذلك الموقف للحساب تتفقد كل نفس أحوالها وأعمالها التي سلفت وتعاينها، وتجازى بحسبها: إن خيرًا فخير، وإن شرًا فشر، ورُدَّ الجميع إلى الله الحكم العدل، فأُدخِلَ أهل الجنةِ الجنةَ وأهل النار النار، وذهب عن المشركين ما كانوا يعبدون من دون الله افتراء عليه.
