Wudu and Nasal Discharge

Question

With a runny nose, something congealed comes out of the nose that has a colour like pus. Does this break wudu or not? It seems that the nasal discharge has congealed and gone putrid.

Answer

If the nasal discharge has merely congealed, it does not nullify wudu; if it is pus, it nullifies wudu. This should be ascertained from a skilled physician.
