Answer

From Maẓāhir ʿUlūm to Kanpur. He discharged his work admirably, but severe ill-health led his physician to advise a change of air and water; on that account he stayed for a time at Gangoh, then at Ludhiana and in other places, and afterwards received his appointment at Jāmiʿ al-ʿUlūm in Kanpur.
