Surah Al-Kafirun (الكافرون)

- 109:1
قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
(When the Mushrikeen of Makkah proposed to Rasulullaah ﷺ that they would accept Islaam if he worshipped or even kissed their idols, Allaah instructed Rasulullaah ﷺ with the following words:) Say, "O Kaafiroon!"
- 109:2
لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
"I (as a Mu'min) do not worship what (gods) you worship..."
- 109:3
وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
"...nor do you worship what I worship (Allaah)."
- 109:4
وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ
"I am neither a worshipper of that which you worship (and shall never be in future either)...”
- 109:5
وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
“...nor are you worshippers of that which I worship."
- 109:6
لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ
"For you is your religion (which you refuse to part with) and for me is mine (from which I refuse to part)."
