Surah Al-Humazah (الهمزة)

- 104:1
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
Destruction be for every person who searches for faults (in others by taunting) and who mocks (the Mu'mineen)...
- 104:2
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
...who (because of his extreme love for wealth, he) amasses wealth and keeps meticulous count of it (not spending any of it for Allaah's' pleasure).
- 104:3
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ
He (foolishly) thinks that his wealth will keep him alive forever (will remain with him forever).
- 104:4
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ
Never! (This will never be so! He will soon have to die and then) He will certainly be thrown into the "Thresher" ("Crusher").
- 104:5
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
How will you know what the "Thresher" (Crusher) is?
- 104:6
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ
(It is) Allaah's kindled fire (of Jahannam)...
- 104:7
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ
...which (is so intense, that it even) penetrates the hearts.
