The Holy Quran 9:72 — Surah At-Tawbah

Arabic text

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَـٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِى جَنَّـٰتِ عَدْنٍ ۚ وَرِضْوَٰنٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

Translation

Allaah promises the Mu'mineen men and the Mu'mineen women Jannaat beneath which rivers flow, where they shall live forever. And (in addition to this, Allaah also promises them) magnificent mansions in eternal Jannaat. The pleasure (good) of Allaah is greatest (greater than any other bounty)! This is the ultimate success.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وعد الله المؤمنين والمؤمنات بالله ورسوله جنات تجري من تحت قصورها وأشجارها الأنهار ماكثين فيها أبدًا، لا يزول عنهم نعيمها، ومساكن حسنة البناء طيبة القرار في جنات إقامة، ورضوان من الله أكبر وأعظم مما هم فيه من النعيم. ذلك الوعد بثواب الآخرة هو الفلاح العظيم.
