The Holy Quran 9:32 — Surah At-Tawbah

Arabic text

يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِـُٔوا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى ٱللَّهُ إِلَّآ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُۥ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ

Translation

They try to blow out the light of Allaah (Islaam) with their mouths (with their efforts and statements), but Allaah refuses (to tolerate anything) except that His light be completed (be exposed to all and remain in existence) even though the Kaafiroon detest it.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

يريد الكفار بتكذيبهم أن يبطلوا دين الإسلام، ويبطلوا حجج الله وبراهينه على توحيده الذي جاء به محمد صلى ا��له عليه وسلم، ويأبى الله إلا أن يتم دينه ويظهره، ويعلي كلمته، ولو كره ذلك الجاحدون.
