The Holy Quran 9:115 — Surah At-Tawbah

Arabic text

وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُضِلَّ قَوْمًۢا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَىٰهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُبَيِّنَ لَهُم مَّا يَتَّقُونَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

Translation

Allaah will (definitely) not cause people to stray (from the straight path of Islaam) after He has guided them (to it) until He explains to them the things that they should abstain (completely) from (However, when they do not abstain from these things, they stray from Islaam). Allaah has knowledge of all things.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وما كان الله ليضلَّ قومًا بعد أن مَنَّ عليهم بالهداية والتوفيق حتى يبيِّن لهم ما يتقونه به، وما يحتاجون إليه في أصول الدين وفروعه. إن الله بكل شيء عليم، فقد علَّمكم ما لم تكونوا تعلمون، وبيَّن لكم ما به تنتفعون، وأقام الحجة عليكم بإبلاغكم رسالته.
