The Holy Quran 7:154 — Surah Al-A'raf

Arabic text

وَلَمَّا سَكَتَ عَن مُّوسَى ٱلْغَضَبُ أَخَذَ ٱلْأَلْوَاحَ ۖ وَفِى نُسْخَتِهَا هُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِرَبِّهِمْ يَرْهَبُونَ

Translation

When the anger of Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام subsided, he took hold of the tablets (of the Torah that he had thrown down in anger). Written in its script was guidance and mercy for those who fear (the punishment of) their Rabb.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولما سكن عن موسى غضبه أخذ الألواح بعد أن ألقاها على الأرض، وفيها بيان للحق ورحمة للذين يخافون الله، ويخشون عقابه.
