The Holy Quran 7:10 — Surah Al-A'raf

Arabic text

وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّـٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَـٰيِشَ ۗ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ

Translation

(O mankind!) We have certainly granted you a place to live on earth and in it We created for you the means for your existence. (Unfortunately, despite all these favours) Little is the gratitude that you show (to Us).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولقد مكَّنَّا لكم -أيها الناس- في الأرض، وجعلناها قرارًا لكم، وجعلنا لكم فيها ما تعيشون به من مطاعم ومشارب، ومع ذلك فشكركم لنعم الله قليل.
