The Holy Quran 63:3 — Surah Al-Munafiqun

Arabic text

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ

Translation

This is because they had accepted Imaan (previously) and then committed kufr (thereby becoming Kuffaar again), so their hearts were sealed (from accepting Imaan again) and (because of this seal) they do not understand (the reality of Imaan).
