The Holy Quran 61:8 — Surah As-Saf

Arabic text

يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِـُٔوا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ

Translation

They (the Kuffaar) intend to extinguish Allaah's light (Islaam) with their mouths (by using the resources at their disposal, all of which are insignificant when compared to Allaah's might). However, Allaah shall bring His light to completion (so that it enters every home on earth) even though the Kaafiroon hate it.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

يريد هؤلاء الظالمون أن يبطلوا الحق الذي بُعِثَ به محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم -وهو القرآن- بأقوالهم الكاذبة، والله مظهر الحق بإتمام دينه ولو كره الجاحدون المكذِّبون.
