The Holy Quran 5:47 — Surah Al-Ma'idah

Arabic text

وَلْيَحْكُمْ أَهْلُ ٱلْإِنجِيلِ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ

Translation

(We had instructed them saying,) The people of the Injeel should judge (their disputes) in accordance with what Allaah has revealed in it (in the Injeel). Whoever does not judge by what Allaah has revealed, then they surely are sinners (because of their disobedience).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وليحكم أهل الإنجيل الذين أُرسِل إليهم عيسى بما أنزل الله فيه. ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الخارجون عن أمره، العاصون له.
