The Holy Quran 57:21 — Surah Al-Hadid

Arabic text

سَابِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أُعِدَّتْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

Translation

(Instead of chasing after the things of this world, rather) Race towards the forgiveness of your Rabb and a Jannah, the width of which is like that of the sky and the earth. (The length is unimaginable.) It has been prepared for those who believe in Allaah and His Rusul. This (forgiveness and Allaah's pleasure) is the grace of Allaah which He gives to whoever He desires. Allaah is the Possessor of immense grace.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

سابقوا -أيها الناس- في السعي إلى أسباب المغفرة من التوبة النصوح والابتعاد عن المعاصي؛ لِتُجْزَوْا مغفرة من ربكم وجنة عرضها كعرض السماء والأرض، وهي مُعَدَّة للذين وحَّدوا الله واتَّبَعوا رسله، ذلك فضل الله الذي يؤتيه مَن يشاء مِن خلقه، فالجنة لا تُنال إلا برحمة الله وفضله، والعمل الصالح. والله ذو الإحسان والعطاء الكثير الواسع على عباده المؤمنين.
