The Holy Quran 56:45 — Surah Al-Waqi'ah

إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُتْرَفِينَ

Translation

Verily these people used to be affluent (in good circumstances) before (in the world).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إنهم كانوا في الدنيا متنعِّمين بالحرام، معرِضين عما جاءتهم به الرسل.
