The Holy Quran 54:18 — Surah Al-Qamar

كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ

Translation

The Aad rejected (the message of Towheed that their Nabi Hood عليه الصلاة والسلام brought to them), so how (severe) was My punishment and warnings?

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

كذبت عاد هودًا فعاقبناهم، فكيف كان عذابي لهم على كفرهم، ونذري على تكذيب رسولهم، وعدم الإيمان به؟ إنه كان عظيمًا مؤلمًا.
