The Holy Quran 51:38 — Surah Adh-Dhariyat

Arabic text

وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَـٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ

Translation

And (there is also a lesson) in (the story of) Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام when We sent him to Fir'oun with a clear proof (with miracles to prove that he was Allaah's true Nabi).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وفي إرسالنا موسى إلى فرعون وملئه بالآيات والمعجزات الظاهرة آية للذين يخافون العذاب الأليم. فأعْرَضَ فرعون مغترًّا بقوته وجانبه، وقال عن موسى: إنه ساحر أو مجنون.
