The Holy Quran 51:17 — Surah Adh-Dhariyat

Arabic text

كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ

Translation

Little was it that they slept at night (because they devoted their nights to worshipping Allaah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

كان هؤلاء المحسنون قليلا من الليل ما ينامون، يُصَلُّون لربهم قانتين له، وفي أواخر الليل قبيل الفجر يستغفرون الله من ذنوبهم.
