The Holy Quran 4:18 — Surah An-Nisa

Translation

Forgiveness is not for those who (continue to) commit evil acts (without repenting) and then, when death presents itself before any of them (and they can see the angels of death before them), he says, 'Now I repent!'. Nor is it (forgiveness) for those who die as Kuffaar (and who repent in the Aakhirah. Such people will never be forgiven). We have prepared for such people a painful punishment.

Tafsir (excerpt) —
