The Holy Quran 48:18 — Surah Al-Fath

۞ لَّقَدْ رَضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَـٰبَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا

Translation

Allaah was well pleased with the Mu'mineen (the Sahabah رضى الله تعالى عنهم) when they pledged their allegiance (Bait-e-Ridwaan) to you (O Rasulullaah ﷺ) beneath the tree (at Hudaybiyyah). Allaah knew what was in their hearts, sent tranquillity to them (causing them to accept Allaah's commands without hesitation) and rewarded them with a victory close at hand (when they conquered Khaybar soon after signing the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah)...

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

لقد رضي الله عن المؤمنين حين بايعوك -أيها النبي- تحت الشجرة -وهذه هي بيعة الرضوان في «الحديبية» - فعلم الله ما في قلوب هؤلاء المؤمنين من الإيمان والصدق والوفاء، فأنزل الله الطمأنينة عليهم وثبَّت قلوبهم، وعوَّضهم عمَّا فاتهم بصلح «الحديبية» فتحًا قريبًا، وهو فتح «خيبر» ، ومغانم كثيرة تأخذونها من أموال يهود «خيبر» .
