The Holy Quran 43:67 — Surah Az-Zukhruf

Arabic text

ٱلْأَخِلَّآءُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

Translation

Friends will be enemies (foes) on that day (of Qiyaamah because they will refuse to assist each other), except for those with Taqwa (they will remain loyal to each other).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

الأصدقاء على معاصي الله في الدنيا يتبرأ بعضهم من بعض يوم القيامة، لكن الذين تصادقوا على تقوى الله، فإن صداقتهم دائمة في الدنيا والآخرة.
