The Holy Quran 43:53 — Surah Az-Zukhruf

Arabic text

فَلَوْلَآ أُلْقِىَ عَلَيْهِ أَسْوِرَةٌ مِّن ذَهَبٍ أَوْ جَآءَ مَعَهُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِينَ

Translation

"(If he is a true Rasool) Why are bangles of gold not thrown to him (why does he not have wealth, Firoun wore gold bangles), or why do angels not appear in successive groups with him (to verify what he says)?"

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فهلا أُلقِي على موسى -إن كان صادقًا أنه رسول رب العالمين- أسْوِرَة من ذهب، أو جاء معه الملائكة قد اقترن بعضهم ببعض، فتتابعوا يشهدون له بأنه رسول الله إلينا.
