The Holy Quran 43:33 — Surah Az-Zukhruf

Translation

(Whereas the Kuffaar foolishly regard wealth as a token of prominence by which a person becomes eligible for receiving Prophethood, Allaah does not. In fact, wealth means nothing to Allah and He could give it in abundance to every Kaafir if it were not foreseeable that everyone would become Kuffaar because of their greed for wealth. Referring to this, Allaah says,) If it were not for mankind becoming a single nation (of Kuffaar), We would (give so much wealth to the Kuffaar that We would) have made roofs of silver for the homes of those who disbelieve in Rahmaan (for the Kuffaar), as well as (silver) staircases which they can climb.

Tafsir (excerpt) —
