The Holy Quran 43:3 — Surah Az-Zukhruf

Arabic text

إِنَّا جَعَلْنَـٰهُ قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

Translation

We have made it an Arabic Qur'aan so that you (O people of Arabia, who were the first recipients of the Qur'aan) understand.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إنَّا أنزلنا القرآن على محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم بلسان العرب؛ لعلكم تفهمون، وتتدبرون معانيه وحججه. وإنه في اللوح المحفوظ لدينا لعليٌّ في قَدْره وشرفه، محكم لا اختلاف فيه ولا تناقض.
