The Holy Quran 43:26 — Surah Az-Zukhruf

Arabic text

وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّنِى بَرَآءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ

Translation

(The time is well worth remembering) When Ibraheem عليه الصلاة والسلام said to his father and to his people, "I absolve (free) myself of what (gods) you people worship..." (serve)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

واذكر -أيها الرسول- إذ قال إبراهيم لأبيه وقومه الذين كانوا يعبدون ما يعبده قومك: إنني براء مما تعبدون من دون الله.
