The Holy Quran 42:10 — Surah Ash-Shuraa

Arabic text

وَمَا ٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ مِن شَىْءٍ فَحُكْمُهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبِّى عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ

Translation

The decision (to judge who is right and who is wrong) rests with Allaah concerning the matters in which you differ. That Allaah is my Rabb. In Him do I trust, and to Him do I turn (in all affairs).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وما اختلفتم فيه -أيها الناس- من شيء من أمور دينكم، فالحكم فيه مردُّه إلى الله في كتابه وسنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم. ذلكم الله ربي وربكم، عليه وحده توكلت في أموري، وإليه أرجع في جميع شؤوني.
