The Holy Quran 41:38 — Surah Fussilat

Arabic text

فَإِنِ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فَٱلَّذِينَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُۥ بِٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْـَٔمُونَ ۩

Translation

(However, despite hearing this,) If they (the Kufjaar) are arrogant (proud and refuse to accept), then (Allaah does not need their worship because) those (angels) who are close to your Rabb glorify Him day and night without becoming tired. (One who recite or hears this verse being recited should perform Sajdah.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فإن استكبر هؤلاء المشركون عن السجود لله، فإن الملائكة الذين عند ربك لا يستكبرون عن ذلك، بل يسبحون له، وينزِّهونه عن كل نقص بالليل والنهار، وهم لا يَفْتُرون عن ذلك، ولا يملون.
