The Holy Quran 40:80 — Surah Ghafir

Arabic text

وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا۟ عَلَيْهَا حَاجَةً فِى صُدُورِكُمْ وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ

Translation

There are many (other) uses for you in them (such as using their skins), and (Allaah has created them) so that you may attain (reach) the need in your hearts by riding them (such as riding them for trade or for visiting). You are transported on them (on land) and on ships (at sea, thus making your travels easy).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

الله سبحانه هو الذي جعل لكم الأنعام؛ لتنتفعوا بها: من منافع الركوب والأكل وغيرها من أنواع المنافع، ولتبلغوا بالحمولة على بعضها حاجةً في صدوركم من الوصول إلى الأقطار البعيدة، وعلى هذه الأنعام تُحْمَلون في البرية، وعلى الفلك في البحر تُحْمَلون كذلك.
