The Holy Quran 40:63 — Surah Ghafir

Arabic text

كَذَٰلِكَ يُؤْفَكُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ

Translation

In a like manner (just as you wander astray), did those who rejected Allaah's Aayaat (before you also) wander (astray). (You should therefore take care that you do not suffer the punishment they suffered.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

كما كذَّبتم بالحق -يا كفار قريش- وأعرضتم عنه إلى الباطل، يُصرف عن الحق والإيمان به الذين كانوا بحجج الله وأدلته يجحدون.
