The Holy Quran 40:14 — Surah Ghafir

Arabic text

فَٱدْعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ

Translation

So supplicate (call) to Allaah, making all of religion (worship) exclusively (solely) for Him (without regarding any other as His partners), even though the Kaafiroon dislike it. (Fear Allaah rather than any others.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فأخلصوا -أيها المؤمنون- لله وحده العبادة والدعاء، وخالفوا المشركين في مسلكهم، ولو أغضبهم ذلك، فلا تبالوا بهم.
