The Holy Quran 3:82 — Surah Ali 'Imran

Arabic text

فَمَن تَوَلَّىٰ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ

Translation

So whoever (from the followers of the Prophets) turns back after this (pledge to believe in and to assist Rasulullaah ﷺ), then they are the disobedient ones.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فمن أعرض عن دعوة الإسلام بعد هذا البيان وهذا العهد الذي أخذه الله على أنبيائه، فأولئك هم الخارجون عن دين الله وطاعة ربهم.
