The Holy Quran 3:132 — Surah Ali 'Imran

Arabic text

وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

Translation

Obey Allaah and the Rasool ﷺ so that mercy (salvation) is shown to you. (To obey Rasulullaah ﷺ is to obey Allaah because Allaah commands that Rasulullaah ﷺ be obeyed.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وأطيعوا الله -أيها المؤمنون- فيما أمركم به من الطاعات وفيما نهاكم عنه من أكل الربا وغيره من الأشياء، وأطيعوا الرسول; لترحموا، فلا تعذبوا.
