The Holy Quran 3:113 — Surah Ali 'Imran

Arabic text

۞ لَيْسُوا۟ سَوَآءً ۗ مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ أُمَّةٌ قَآئِمَةٌ يَتْلُونَ ءَايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَ

Translation

They (the Ahlul Kitaab) are all not alike. From the Ahlul Kitaab is a group who are upright (steadfast on the truth). They recite the verses of Allaah in the hours of the night and prostrate (when performing salaah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ليس أهل الكتاب متساوين: فمنهم جماعة مستقيمة على أمر الله مؤمنة برسوله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقومون الليل مرتلين آيات القرآن الكريم، مقبلين على مناجاة الله في صلواتهم.
