The Holy Quran 3:100 — Surah Ali 'Imran

Arabic text

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تُطِيعُوا۟ فَرِيقًا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ يَرُدُّوكُم بَعْدَ إِيمَـٰنِكُمْ كَـٰفِرِينَ

Translation

Oh you who have Imaan! If you obey a party from those who have been given the Book (the Jews and the Christians), they will turn you into Kaafiroon after your Imaan. (Muslims should therefore not be deceived by the mischief mongers who want them to discard Imaan.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

يا أيها الذين صدَّقوا الله ورسوله وعملوا بشرعه، إن تطيعوا جماعة من اليهود والنصارى ممن آتاهم الله التوراة والإنجيل، يضلوكم، ويلقوا إليكم الشُّبَه في دينكم; لترجعوا جاحدين للحق بعد أن كنتم مؤمنين به، فلا تأمنوهم على دينكم، ولا تقبلوا لهم رأيًا أو مشورة.
